DISABILITY

CRSP has considerable expertise in undertaking research on disability related issues. Recent research has focused on the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, the New Deal for Disabled People, and disabled people’s additional needs and costs. Our work in this area encompasses a full methodological range from major policy evaluation, including cost benefit analysis, to consensual budget standards methodology.

 

Current and Recent Project Include:

Developing Budget Standards for Disabled People

Economic and Social Costs of Benefit to Employers for Retaining, Recruiting and Employing Disabled People and/or People with Health Conditions or an Injury

Employers and Service Providers’ Responses to the Disability Discrimination Act in 2003 and preparation for 2004 changes
